The Rogbomtama School project is a proposal from three communities - Rogbomtama, Mabene and Mamama. These communities are situated in a district called Port Loko in Sierra Leone. Ninety-five percent of the district’s residents are illiterate and many depend on fishing and farming as forms of livelihood. Between these three communities, there are approximately 95 children of school age (50 boys and 45 girls) and no functioning school. Along with Education for Hope, the communities hope to construct a nine-room structure - six classrooms, an office, a library and a storage facility - with six-room toilet stalls.

With your support, the dream of these communities owning their first school will soon be realized.

Thanks for your generous support of our effort to give hope and to help the children of Sierra Leone realize their dreams and natural potential. People such as you make it possible for us to continue to create pathways out of poverty through education.
